What an exciting beginning of the year 2025. The last six weeks have been definitely something! At the end of last year, I returned to Europe to undertake a new world record, running 45 kilometres barefoot on snow wearing only shorts. Over the course of two days on February 4-5 in the beautiful ski resort of Tignes in the French Alps I did the Sub Zero Run to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention.

Originally I planned to run 100 km over the course of five days, but circumstances changed after two days, as my toes got into the second stage of frostbite. In the interest of safety, I chose to stop, which was a really smart choice as if I kept on going another day it could have result in the amputation of my toes. I’m really glad to have listened to my heart, as it protected me against my ego. Always listen to your heart and not your ego.

I’m so grateful to have received support from the officials with the City of Tignes. Everything went really smooth and a great friendship has been born from it. Also a Big Thank you to my friend Youssouf Fofana who supported all the way.

Stay tuned, as I am now planning my next world record challenge above 23,000 FEET in the Beautiful Himalayas next year!

I am thrilled to have joined forces with Polax Nordic to continue promoting the benefits of controlled cold exposure as part of a vibrant and healthy lifestyle. Ice baths and cold therapy are one of the pillars of Andre Belibi Coaching’s program, along with mindset training and deep breathing exercises. I discovered the powerful, positive effects of cold water five years ago, when I was looking for a natural way to combat depression and anxiety. I can sincerely say that it changed my life, providing me with a path forward and even a new sense of purpose. Of course, a big part of the training that goes into my world record attempts includes taking regular ice baths, sometimes for more than one hour!

Please visit Polax's website to learn more about their fantastic products for ice bath and cold training.

Much love, and keep chasting your worthy cause!

André.
